The Lions Club of Pokhara Annapurna has supported the Mitratata Higher Secondary School to build a science block. We have also donated 158,220 rupees towards the further development of the school building and have funded a 20,000 rupee scholarship. Mitrata Higher Secondary School has greatly appreciated our donation because their building is still under construction due to a shortage of funds.

On the 14th of February, 2014, the school had the 43rd anniversary program. Many people came from all neighbouring villages. To capitalise on their travel, the Lions Club of Pokhara Annapurna also organised a free health camp for this day. Nine doctors came from Fishtail Hospital. We were able to provide medical treatment for approximately 400 people, with free medicine and radiography.
